Village Vision Care is an organization whose formation was proposed by the people of greater Masaka region. It is a socio-economic grouping that brings people of the same economic and social setting; share the same core values but living individually.

I am a school dropout due to different financial problems that challenged my aging parents whose income was only on small scale farming during my study time and earning a dollar a day consecutively was a tagger of war!. I come from a family of 19 children. This forced me not to accomplish my academics to pursue my dreams!

Dr. BINTA MONICA SSEBAGGALA

As a health worker by profession. It sounds very good to give back the community through voluntary service delivery in order to thank God for the long time offered to me during and after retirement.
The woman served with gratitude in very many health services within Uganda.
She holds M.B.CH.B, MPH, in the health sector.
She is a married woman who supports a number of vulnerable children who face a number of challenges to earn a living.

KYOSIMBONAANYA JOHN



He is a Ugandan aged 60 with a great passion to transforming the rural poor. Given ample expertise cum cooperative trained and child centered development worker with long experience on delivering rights based approaches to development

He is the monitoring and Evaluation Director.

Nanteza Juliet Kasiita

When growing up and during my education, I was helped by well-wishers because I was a bright student and my parents could not pay for my education because they were relatively poor.
Although I finished my studies and educated my children, I can still realize that many communities in Uganda are still poor and occupied by vulnerable groups of people like the orphans, street children, teenage mothers, the elderly, and others who live away from their parents because of the difficult situations at home.
My education helped to become a good citizen and this forced me to join hands with my friends to start this organization so as to help vulnerable people whom I was like.

Mawanda James

I am very much humbled to be part of Village Vision Care because I earlier had an idea of helping the needy.
However much I also experienced difficulties throughout my studies, I felt concerned whenever I left for home from the university late at night and found my fellow children of around 5 years of age selling maize in town. Most of these children were the ones heading their families of 3 to 5 children, trying to look for money to support their families.
I felt very much touched and proposed to help such kinds of people.

Kibuule Richard

I grew up from a very poor family and almost shared all kinds of hardships that needy children face; It is therefore against that situation that we came up with the idea of forming this organization in order to help the vulnerable groups like the needy children and the youths in Masaka and Uganda at large.

Ssesaazi Paddy Patric

A dedicated and compassionate retired Special Needs Teacher with over 10 years of experience, Ssesaazi Paddy Patrick has devoted his life to nurturing and empowering individuals with diverse needs. His passion for serving vulnerable people goes beyond professional duty, it is a calling rooted in genuine care and inclusivity. He is deeply committed to uplifting lives regardless of background, bringing hope, dignity, and support to those in need.

Biggwa Twaha

is a highly accomplished finance professional, holding a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, an ACCA affiliation, and CPA Uganda certification. With over 8 years of experience in the banking sector and 13 years in local government specializing in finance and accounting, he brings a wealth of knowledge and integrity to his work. Beyond his professional achievements, Twaha is passionate about supporting vulnerable communities, using his expertise to promote accountability, empowerment, and sustainable development.

Mirembe Betty

A devoted mother of five and a passionate businesswoman, she brings both compassion and real-life experience into her work with communities. From a young age, she has carried a deep love for supporting vulnerable people, especially children and families facing difficult circumstances. Her heart for service is rooted in understanding the everyday struggles many households go through, and she uses this insight to connect, encourage, and uplift those in need. Through her role as Community Outreach Advisor, she helps strengthen relationships between Village Vision Care and the communities it serves, ensuring that no voice goes unheard and no need is overlooked. Her dedication, humility, and caring spirit continue to inspire hope, restore dignity, and remind vulnerable families that they are not alone.

Mpande James

Due to a large number of vulnerable groups in our communities, we saw it important to organize and collect resources and solicit funds to help and empower all those people under the vulnerable categories that need our support, those that have lost hope, the orphans, school drop outs, not forgetting the street children

Mbajja Abubakar



Education:
Master's in Population and Development, Bachelor’s degree in arts and education Makerere University
Experience:
Seasoned educator with extensive experience teaching at all levels in Uganda, recently retired from lecturing at Mbale University.

Participated in writing population report of Uganda 2006.

Providing expert guidance and support to enhance our organization's community services and impact.
